I’ve been searching for a centronics-port Wheelwriter at the thrifts lately, just because I want to re-experience the fun noise of letter-quality printing in the early 90’s again. Yours is the only article on the web I found that even mentions using those old WW’s as printers. Is the appreciation of retro-tech dead? Doesn’t anyone want to enjoy the racket of a daisywheel printer anymore? 😀
By the way, typeblogging is also a thing. You’re a trailblazer!
The sound’s okay; just the sound × the slowness = way too much noise.
