My Favourite Bike Lane

The Cambridge Street and Cowcaddens Road Bike lane is typical of the quality of bike facilities in Glasgow. It's big, highly visible, and entirely useless. One you're in it, you can't get out unless you can climb over the barrier. And it's been in place for over a year.

This page is a thinly-disguised plug for Crappy Lanes, my "study" of Glasgow cycling facilities. Please tell everyone you can about it. Glasgow has had some very poor facilities foisted on it just to make it look good to Velo City 2001 conference-goers.

Please use any pictures you can from this page with my good wishes. All I ask is that you credit me, and give a link to Crappy Lanes.
