From a tiny <a href=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/blog\/2003\/06\/04\/is-this-thing-on-eh\/\">first post<\/a> to now, it&#8217;s always been filed firmly under \u00e2\u20ac\u0153<em>misc<\/em>.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d: no theme, no ads, no plan, and (until recently) no readers \u00e2\u02dc\u00b9<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been on two different hosts and <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/\">two<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.movabletype.org\/\">different<\/a> platforms. It&#8217;s still <a href=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/blog\/2003\/11\/24\/how-the-blog-got-its-name\/\">obscurely named<\/a>. It took a brief orange-carpeted <a href=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/blog\/1975\/11\/24\/vauxhall-viva-cgg-306k\/\">journey into the 1970s<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.footloosiety.com\/\">Dave<\/a>&#8216;s picture of <a href=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/blog\/2004\/05\/04\/bunny\/\">a tiny bunny in my hands<\/a> still gets more hits than I can believe. There was the whole <a href=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/blog\/tag\/windsave\/\">WindSave<\/a> thing, and the whole other pointless and ugly <a href=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/blog\/2006\/03\/05\/vawt-der-hey-wind-powered-megabin\/\">megabin<\/a>s thing. Then there was <a href=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/blog\/tag\/raspberrypi\/\">Raspberry Pi<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/blog\/2013\/01\/19\/the-quite-rubbish-clock\/\">The Quite Rubbish Clock<\/a>; I got more hits in a week than I got in the previous nine years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been at We Saw a Chicken \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 for 10 years now.
