Almost every programme I was running had this problem. Mouse over the image to see how it could look if you apply this\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/askubuntu.com\/a\/186940\/68093\">easy fix<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Create (or edit) the file <span style=\"font-family: andale mono,times;\"><del>~\/.fonts.conf<\/del> ~\/.config\/fontconfig\/conf.d<\/span>, and add the following lines:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: xml; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\">\r\n&lt;match target=&quot;font&quot; &gt;\r\n  &lt;edit name=&quot;embeddedbitmap&quot; mode=&quot;assign&quot;&gt;\r\n    &lt;bool&gt;false&lt;\/bool&gt;\r\n  &lt;\/edit&gt;\r\n&lt;\/match&gt;\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>Log out, log back in again, and text is properly pretty.
