Aha! Nice thick corrugated card that was reasonably easy to cut with a very sharp knife.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" title=\"fits nicely\" src=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_0299.jpg\" alt=\"fits nicely\" width=\"640\" height=\"506\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&lt;voice_of_experience&gt;<strong>NB<\/strong>: At this point it would have been <em>much<\/em> wiser to have inserted a memory card before laying this out.&lt;\/voice_of_experience&gt;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" title=\"cut out slots for connectors on lid\" src=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_0302.jpg\" alt=\"cut out slots for connectors on lid\" width=\"640\" height=\"546\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re going to have to cut out slots for connectors on the side of the lid. I marked out the path of the lid by closing the box and shading the path that went by the hole I&#8217;d cut. It&#8217;s not going to move about with all the connectors holding it in place.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" title=\"don't forget the cutout for the video cable\" src=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_0306.jpg\" alt=\"don't forget the cutout for the video cable\" width=\"626\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget the cutout for the video cable in the box flap. I only caught this at the very last moment.<\/p>\n<p>The Raspberry Pi does run faintly warm in the box.
