Half-wanted, that is, because of my previous experience with &#8220;Russian&#8221; photo gear (I&#8217;ve had a Lomo TLR, a Fed rangefinder, and a Pentacon six) and its legendary quality control. I&#8217;m also so done with film.<br \/>\nA while back, <a href=\"http:\/\/ocaoimh.ie\/\">Donncha<\/a> wrote about a\u00c2\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/ocaoimh.ie\/2005\/02\/24\/gimp-lomo-plugin\/\">GIMP Lomo Plugin<\/a>. While it looked handy, the link to the code is now dead. You can find what I think is the same one here: <a href=\"http:\/\/flelay.free.fr\/pool\/lomo2.scm\">http:\/\/flelay.free.fr\/pool\/lomo2.scm<\/a> (or a local copy here if that link dies: <a title=\"lomo2.scm - lomo effect plugin for Gimp 2.2\" href=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/01\/lomo2.scm\">lomo2.scm<\/a>). Just pop it in your <em>.gimp-2.2\/scripts\/<\/em> directory, and it&#8217;ll appear as a filter. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mfworx.com\/\">original author<\/a>&#8216;s comment on Donncha&#8217;s blog contains good settings: Vignetting softness=1, Contrast=30, Saturation=30, Double Vignetting=TRUE.<\/p>\n<p>I knew there was a reason I retrieved my old 1.3 megapixel Fujifilm MX-1200 from my parents&#8217; house.
