Walter Moers creates such a complex&nbsp;\u00e2\u20ac\u201d yet never serious&nbsp;\u00e2\u20ac\u201d fantasy world that leaving it is always hard.<\/p>\n<p>I like the way he&#8217;s not afraid to revisit characters from <em>The 13\u00c2\u00bd Lives of Captain Bluebear<\/em>. Most fantasy authors are slavish in keeping their characters&#8217; lives consistent across the volumes.
