I like WordPress<\/a>, but its image handling is pretty poor. I also like Gallery<\/a>, but it doesn’t know how to talk to WordPress<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here’s a quick way to get an image stored in Gallery<\/a> into a WordPress<\/a> entry:<\/p>\n

  1. Select the thumbnail of the image you want in Gallery<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Right-click, and “View Selection Source”.<\/li>\n
  3. “Select All” in the DOM Source window.<\/li>\n
  4. Paste the HTML into your WordPress<\/a> entry.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The result is a small image in your entry which, when clicked, takes you to the main image in Gallery<\/a>. It saves disk space, and it means you can use Gallery<\/a>‘s excellent image tools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
