Now I&#8217;m mad at them.<\/p>\n<p>Our last (and by <em>last<\/em> I mean <strong>final<\/strong>, <strong>never again<\/strong>, not just <strong>most recent<\/strong>) order was a disaster:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the delivery was made 15 minutes before our delivery window, at 5:45am.<\/li>\n<li>the driver did not call beforehand.<\/li>\n<li>the driver was discourteous to Catherine.<\/li>\n<li>only 2\/3 of the items we ordered were delivered.<\/li>\n<li>some of the items appeared to be dirty and badly handled.<\/li>\n<li>they&#8217;ve put an extra inexplicable charge of <strong>$75<\/strong> on my credit card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I e-mailed a complaint on the morning of the delivery, and an automated reply promised me a response within 24 hours. A week later, an anodyne semi-human response trickled in, hardly worth the bits it was printed on.<\/p>\n<p>The whole <a href=\"http:\/\/grocerygateway.com\/\">Grocery Gateway<\/a>\/<a href=\"http:\/\/www.longos.com\/\">Longo&#8217;s<\/a> debacle has caused quite a stooshie on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gtabloggers.com\/\">GTABloggers<\/a>, with <a href=\"http:\/\/voxpopgirl.blogspot.com\/\">voxpopgirl<\/a> more than sharing my outrage. A <a href=\"http:\/\/michaelocc.com\/\">self-described PR-flack for Longo&#8217;s<\/a> tried to make amends by saying how much in debt <a href=\"http:\/\/grocerygateway.com\/\">GG<\/a> was, how <a href=\"http:\/\/www.longos.com\/\">Longo&#8217;s<\/a> pride themselves on exemplary customer service, how hard a job it was, blah blah, rhubarb rhubarb. No ice was cut.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/blog\/index.php?p=332#comments\">Longo&#8217;s cancelled the order of a person with disabilities<\/a>. Is it possible to get worse PR than that?<\/p>\n<p>Good riddance,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.longos.com\">Longo&#8217;s Grocery Gateway<\/a>. I won&#8217;t shop with you any more, and I&#8217;d strongly recommend other to take their money elsewhere.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I used to be mad about Grocery Gateway.
