In response, we&#8217;re offering eligible customers a $25 Loblaw Card, which can be used to purchase items sold in our grocery stores across Canada.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>How about:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Loblaw <del>discovered that<\/del><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">deliberately and knowingly stole bread from <\/span>Canadians <del>were overcharged for the cost of some packaged bread products in our stores and other grocery stores across Canada<\/del><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/business\/weston-loblaw-bread-price-fixing-1.4457061\">for fourteen years<\/a><\/span>. In response, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">and without accepting culpability on our part,<\/span> we&#8217;re offering eligible customers a $25 Loblaw Card, which <del>can be used to purchase<\/del><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">will only cost us $10-20 wholesale on<\/span> items sold in our grocery stores across Canada. <del><span style=\"color: #993300;\">You might have to sign away your right to participate in a class-action suit by accepting the card, though.<\/span><\/del><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Update, Jan 2018<\/strong>: terms and conditions are now <a href=\"https:\/\/can-cdn.azureedge.net\/Cardholder-Agreement-en.pdf\">posted<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20180108153851\/https:\/\/can-cdn.azureedge.net\/Cardholder-Agreement-en.pdf\">archive link<\/a>).
