No claims of compliance are made here.<\/p>\n<p>As there are only 10 digits in this font, encoding it as a digital<br \/>\nform (TTF, OTF, or otherwise) is left as an exercise for the reader.<\/p>\n<h2>Files<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><em><a href=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/f7b-colour.svg\">f7b-colour.svg<\/a><\/em> &#8211; an A4 sheet with all 10 digits presented as a<br \/>\nposter. Each digit is approximately 1284% standard size.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/scruss.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Gurney-7B-eps.zip\"><em>eps<\/em> folder<\/a> &#8211; PostScript source files. Each outline is approximately 5695% standard size, which is appropriate for a glyph in <a title=\"FontForge\" href=\"https:\/\/fontforge.github.io\/\">FontForge<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Workflow<\/h2>\n<p>The rough character outlines were created as short scripts in Python,<br \/>\nusing the <a title=\"Shapely\" href=\"http:\/\/toblerity.org\/shapely\/project.html \">Shapely<\/a> library to handle geometry. A confusing array of support tools (including, but not limited to: <a title=\"QCAD\" href=\"http:\/\/www.qcad.org\/en\/ \">QCAD<\/a>, <a title=\"wellknown\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mapbox\/wellknown\">wellknown<\/a><br \/>\nand <a title=\"OGR\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gdal.org\/\">OGR<\/a> added the arcs and fillets. The more complex arc intersections were calculated using <a title=\"GeoGebra\" href=\"http:\/\/www.geogebra.org\/\">GeoGebra<\/a>. Finally, the<br \/>\noutlines &#8212; at this point, mostly in the form of PostScript Level 2<br \/>\n<strong>arct<\/strong> commands &#8212; were hand-keyed into the EPS files included here.<\/p>\n<h2>Notes on the data<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>There are some typos in the published coordinates, particularly in<br \/>\nthe &#8220;1&#8221; glyph. Whether these are genuine errors or<br \/>\n&#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.openstreetmap.org\/2008\/04\/01\/copyright-easter-eggs\/\">trap streets<\/a>&#8216;, is hard to tell. The glyphs presented here are intended to be visually accurate<\/li>\n<li>The published coordinates of the &#8220;8&#8221; glyph indicate that it is<br \/>\nonly 97.6% as tall as the other digits.
