Digital Modes: Morse/CW

• Still the most widely-heard ‘digital’ mode

• Essentially just turning the transmitter on and off in a standard pattern

• Sent and received tolerably well by fldigi with no knowledge of code required

• Electronic keyers (some USB based) can send very quickly and clearly

• (... though there are still many WW2 radio ops out there, some of whom may not approve).

Notes:

Morse/CW is everywhere; it's like the ASCII of radio, used for repeater call signs and beacon signals.
