not there yet

I’m at a Hydro One seminar on distributed generation connection issues. The speaker just said that the breakeven for vanadium flow battery power storage is $280/MWh. Ouch!

    Do they offer any costs breakdown to back it up? Is it safe to assume that all vanadium flow batteries are created equal?

    Nope. It was a pretty much throwaway comment, but from someone who likely knows what they are talking about.
