Got the RB67 back from Kominek, and they did a great job. While it still looks a bit beat-up, everything runs silky-smooth. It did cost a bit more to CLAÂ than the camera cost to buy, but I’m very happy with what they’ve done.

My tag manager suggested “silky smooth ebay job” as tags. It’s likely illegal in Toronto.
You can get yourself a good set of screwdrivers and a service manual for the RB on ebay and service it yourself. The things are surprising easy to take apart and clean. Nothing like the satisfaction of getting them working smooth yourself. I love my RB.
But that would assume I had enough time, and a clean flat space to work on.
Coincidentally, I’m just about to sell my RB67 kit …
