ah, now something’s gone really weird. My DSL modem tripped out half way through the install, and so now it thinks it’s half-Edgy, half-Feisty. Plus, the Gnome fonts got corrupted, so my screen text looks like ▯▯▯▯ … now would be a good time to do a full reinstall, and maybe look at AMD64. -
