goatee-stroking musing, or something

the search for fair trade coffee @ SB’s

got a tall Estima (supposedly fair trade — they didn’t know) at the First Canadian Place branch at Adelaide & York, Toronto. It’s okay, but most fair trade coffees are too light for me.

Thanks for joining in! Wondering — Was Cafe Estima brewed and ready when you walked in? It was supposed to be one of the featured brews this week. Of course, the real test will begin next week when baristas will need to individually French press each requested fair trade cup of coffee —

Yes, it was. What worried me is that they weren’t sure it was fair trade — this was in the heart of Toronto’s financial district, after all.
